The name Beyond Eden is taken from the idea that we are living life today on the other side of the Garden. We live in a broken and fallen world where sin and sickness is a reality. The practice of medicine is an effort to care for those who suffer from the results of the fall.

The ministry of Beyond Eden at Mayo is a partnership of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the Christian Medical Association in Rochester. Through community life, Bible study, mission trips, community service and social events we seek to strengthen the life and faith of those in the healing profession. Our goal is to help those in the Mayo community to integrate their Christian faith with their professional lives as we reach out to others who need to know Christ.
